ERPs mentoring group meeting with
Prof.Yury Kropotov
Time: 18:00-20:00 pm AEST (Sydney, Australia time) Topic: Functional meaning of the frontal theta rhythm (Fmθ) and different subtypes of healthy beta rhythms (frontal low beta, Rolandic beta, central high beta) Fmθ is a distinct electroencephalogram (EEG) activity observed in the frontal midline region during various mental tasks and is associated with several cognitive functions (attention, cognitive control, working memory) and affective functions (anxiety regulation), and individual differences. Abnormal theta rhythms (such as in ADHD, ASD, Alzheimer… ). Different beta subtypes show different neuronal circuits and functional meaning. Abnormal beta rhythms associated with ADHD, anxiety, depression will be discussed.
